Terms and Conditions

General

By ordering products from Lensstore.ie you agree to the following.

Delivery time

All our deliveries are made with priority mail by the postal service for fastest possible delivery. Delivery times vary depending on if the contact lenses are in stock or not. If the order is placed before 14:30 and your contact lenses are in stock the order will be sent the same day and in most cases will reach you the following work-day. If the order is placed after 14:30 it will be sent the following work-day. For contact lenses with unusual parameters or error of refraction, the delivery times are 5-14 days. Lensstore.ie cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by the postal service.

Delivery straight home

The bulk of all our delivered contact lenses are sent straight to our customers. If you live in a flat or by some other circumstance have a narrow letterbox (less than 3cm in height), you can, when you place your order choose the service "flat package" and get the lenses repackaged and sent straight to your door in a flat special pack. If you order lens solution or if the order is made up of more than one delivery box or is too large for our flat special pack then the complete order will be sent to your nearest postal service agent (usually a convenience store, tobacco shop or gas station). Letterboxes vary a lot in size so we cannot guarantee that our special package will fit all letterboxes.

Delivery to postal service agent

If your order is too big for delivery straight to your door (orders of lens solution or contact lenses that need more than one delivery pack or don't fit in our special flat package) the mailman will leave you a notification for you to get your contact lenses at your closest postal service agent (named on the notice). Your closest postal service agent is usually a convenience store, tobacco shop or gas station.

Risk of delivery

Lensstore takes the responsibility for the products getting lost or damaged in transit from us to you. In the case of a return of product you take the responsibility for the product if it gets lost or damage in transit.

Prices

All prices are VAT included. Except shipping cost (from 5 euro) and invoice charge in case of invoicing (from 5 euro) no other taxes or charges will apply.

Payment

Credit card / debit card

Lensstore offers payment by credit or debit card with VISA, Mastercard and Eurocard. Lensstore.ie uses Auriga ePayment for the management of creditcard  payments. When you have chosen your product you simply fill in your credit or debit card information i.e. card number, expiration date and CSC (Card Security Code). We use market leading suppliers of security certificates to ensure that your transaction is made securely. All information is transferred using SSL-encoding (unreadable) which ensures that no outsider can access your information. Furthermore your payment is protected by 3D Secure, a standard of security developed by VISA. Lensstore.ie does not have access to any information about your card or bank.

Reservation for changes

We reserve the right for any changes to price, stock, misprint, faulty product pictures and/or information caused by technical or human errors. We reserve the right to change prices and terms of service.

Right of regret

When you buy a product or service over distance or in a store you can regret your purchase up to 14 days (in Sweden) from the day you received the product or collected it from your postal agent. The product needs to be returned in its unbroken (still sealed) original package and not be destroyed or damaged. In case the contact lenses have been repackaged in one of our special packages then neither the contact lenses nor their container/package can be destroyed or in any other way damaged. In case of a regret of purchase the price of postage will be paid by you as a customer.

Repayment of regretted purchase

An accepted regret of purchase is repaid within 10 business days. In case of an invoice payment the repayment will be made to the specified account. In case of card payment the repayment will be done to the card number (i.e. the account connected to that number) that were used in the purchase.

Right of complaint

Lensstore.ie offers full refund on products that suffers from manufacturing errors. Put the faulty contact lens in a lens case with fluid and contact our customer service by phone +(46)8 525 076 85 or by e-mail support@lensstore.ie. Provide a short description of the matter, your name and order number for further instructions. Lensstore.ie sends the faulty lens to the manufacturer for a final assessment.

Privacy & security

By making a purchase you agree to let us store your information. Lensstore.ie uses your personal details only for communicating with you and we guarantee that we will not sell the information to a third party. At the time of your purchase you state your personal details such as: name, address, social security number, e-mail, telephone number and password (optional). You have the right to access the information we have stored on you and if it is wrong, incomplete or irrelevant you can ask for it to be corrected or removed.

Fraud

All cases of attempted fraud will be reported to the police.

Valid prescription from optician/doctor

To order contact lenses from Lensstore.ie you are required to have a valid prescription from a licensed optician or doctor. You confirm this by checking the box "Yes, I have been prescribed the above mentioned contact lenses by a licensed optician/doctor" when you place the order. The prescription must not be older than twelve months.

Eyes are sensitive and the usage of contact lenses without an optician's prescription could cause damage to the eye. It is important that you use the right kind of contact lenses since the eyes are always changing and it is important that you see an optician/doctor to have an eye exam and make sure you use the right kind of lenses.

Age limit for ordering

The minimum age for ordering from Lensstore.ie is 16 years. For persons under the age of 16 orders can only be made by a parent or legal guardian. The order must then be made in the parents name and according to the minor's prescription from the optician or doctor.

Force Majeure

Lensstore.ie is not to be held liable in case of delayed service (including delivery and warranty matters) caused by circumstances outside of Lensstore.ie control. Such circumstances includes but are not limited to; labor dispute, strike and similar circumstances, interruption or failure of electricity and telephone services, natural disaster, fire, government sanction, acts of war, interruption or failure of responsible webhosts/servers where Lensstore.ie is hosted and delays caused by internet connected networks etc.
